The first step on the road to home ownership is to attend our nationally accredited Homebuyer Education Class. Taught by NeighborWorks® America certified instructors, the class will teach you everything you need to become a successful homeowner. Budgeting, credit, working with realtors, shopping for a loan, and learning how to maintain a home are just some of the topics covered. After completion, you will be well-prepared to navigate through the homebuying process.
Classes are offered on evenings and Saturdays to accommodate the working public. Classes fill-up fast, so we recommend that you register as soon as possible.

After successful completion of the Homebuyer Education Class, you will be eligible to work individually with a counselor to develop a personal homeownership plan. We can help you examine your finances, determine price range, establish a savings program and address any credit issues. We will teach you how to read your credit report, and best practices to maintain credit worthiness, so that you can qualify for a mortgage. Our counselors work with you for as long as you need until you achieve your goal of homeownership.
Our counseling services do not stop once you purchase a home. We offer post-purchase counseling specifically designed to provide you with information on home maintenance, home safety, homeowners insurance, budgeting, refinancing, and more.
