Energy Smart Loan Program and subsidy
The HomeOwnership Center can help make your home more energy-efficient and reduce your utility bills. Eligible borrowers can receive up to 50% of the costs associated with energy-efficient improvements through the Home Performance subsidy and the other 50% with the Energy $mart Loan Program.
In order to apply for the Energy $mart Loan and AHP Subsidy, please download and send in our application.
Basic Eligibility:
- 1-2 Family Homes
- Owner Occupied
- Low-to-Moderate Income
The following are some eligible improvements:
- Insulation upgrades
- Air sealing the building to reduce drafts and cold spots
- Duct Sealing
- Heating system repair or replacement
- Other cost-effective energy saving measures
